My Typical first session is about putting my client at ease so that they can feel safe and comfortable in the space. In my first session a client will notice that I will use humor to lessen the stress of the unknown. In my first session, is more of a time for my client to get to know me, I feel that as a therapist if I am requiring my clients to share their most vulnerable moments and need them to trust me, I want to make sure that in my first session I too an open and honest about myself to them.

My over all approach is person centered. Each client is an individual and I like to tailor my sessions to the specific need of each person.

I have traveled in a hot air balloon
My passion for helping others is woven into every thread of my existence. The journey to becoming a therapist took over 20 years, filled with self-discovery, determination, and a positive mindset—none of which come easily. I truly believe that we can all cultivate these qualities and achieve emotional well-being by aligning and healing both mind and body with a little nurturing.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Salem State University and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. My experience spans various therapeutic settings, where I've provided family support in community environments and outpatient clinical support to individuals, families, adolescents, and adults. I've worked with issues like depression, anxiety, behavioral challenges, parental difficulties, PTSD, and complex trauma.
As a therapist, my goal is to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental safe space that empowers and supports individuals during their healing and transformative journeys. I take pride in my ability to build rapport quickly, helping others feel at ease, which fosters a trusting therapeutic alliance tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals.
