  • In our first session I will introduce myself and my background and ask you questions designed to get to know you! During this session I will also review our therapy policies with you. Then we will co-create some therapeutic goals together in a way that is person-centered and focused on your desires and needs. It is important to me that there is plenty of space for you during this time. Ideally this will be the beginning to a longer-term relationship that will help you to build resources and skills over time to help create trust in yourself to navigate life's many challenges. I welcome questions and feedback in this and all other sessions!

  • I typically do work with an eclectic mix of modalities and interventions including primarily CBT/DBT and traditional talk therapy but often focus on incorporating art therapy as well throughout my practice. This allows me to help clients move through emotional challenges that arise during the therapeutic process and assists in facilitating the use of symbolism and metaphor, which often allow for a shift in perspective that can be extremely helpful when confronting "stuck" areas in our work.

  • I have been to 6 out of the 7 continents! During my time traveling I have camped out on the great wall of China, earned a scuba diving license in Thailand, and gone sand surfing in Morocco.

I am an LMHC-eligible art therapist with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Visual Art Therapy from Lesley University. In the past, I have worked with clients of many different ages, backgrounds, and diagnoses.

I enjoy working from a systemic feminist and trauma-informed perspective. Much of my work focuses on the mind-body connection, exploring relational attachment patterns, and understanding the role of community and context in shaping one’s perspective. I primarily focus on healing the self-relationship and often utilize internal family systems and trauma-informed mindfulness-based approaches in my practice.
