  • I love to start in the studio learning about your favorite creative materials and maybe introducing you to some new ones while we get to know each other better.

  • I am a trauma informed person-centered counselor which means I believe your voice in treatment is vital. I hope I can be your partner on your journey to a more fulfilling and artful life.

  • A fun fact about me is that in my previous role before joining the Artful Life, I offered equine-assisted therapy and when I'm not here I like to be at the barn with my two horses Daisy & Rosy.

I'm Rachel (she/her) a trauma informed person-centered licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) specializing in expressive art and nature-based therapeutic modalities. I completed my Master's in Counseling Psychology at Cambridge College in 2019 and before that I earned my Bachelor's in Studio Art & Design from San Diego State University.

While I currently work with clients of various ages and mental health needs I have extensive experience working with adolescent and neuro-diverse populations. I have additional training in treating families & couples, individuals who have experienced trauma, loss or an attachment injury as well as those seeking treatment for mood or anxiety disorders.
