Specialty/Age Groups Treated - I enjoy working with people from all walks of life who are coming to therapy for various reasons. When applicable, I encourage the art-making process in therapy as a tool to help clients express themselves in alternate ways.

  • My first couple of sessions are geared towards meeting and familiarizing someone with the space and the therapeutic process. I understand that I am a new person in a clients life and vice versa. I like to ease anxiety through building rapport and normalizing the emotions we all experience when faced with new terrain.

  • Depending on the area of focus, I mainly incorporate skills from CBT, DBT, and REBT. I like to meet clients where they are at and practice from a person-centered approach with a trauma informed lens.

  • I am an avid solo traveler. My favorite trip was last fall where I explored Alaska and the Pacific Northwest.

I am a pre-licensed clinician and art therapist, holding a master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Art Therapy from Lesley University. I practice from a person-centered approach with a trauma-informed lens, utilizing the arts in therapy to gain deeper insight into what my clients are experiencing.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, teens, adults, and older populations. My background includes working in partial hospitalization programs, grief and loss counseling, and juvenile corrections. I am trained and certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and specialize in ADHD, trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and a variety of other conditions.
