New Member Spotlight: Artful Life Counseling and Studio

“The Artful LifeCounseling Center and Studio located in Salem Mass., is a thriving mental health group practice that helps individuals of all ages communicate their emotions through creative outlets. Each client at The Artful Life has a unique story to tell. Our therapists utilize counseling strategies that support the expression of the human experience when it can be difficult to find the words to share your story.

Natalie Blue and Madelene Pario, co-owners of The Artful Life Counseling Center & Studio were named by the Small Business Administration (SBA), the 2023 Women Small Business Owners of the Year for Massachusetts.

Blue and Pario started The Artful Life in 2016, brought together by their shared passion to bring creative art mediums to their local community via a counseling center and studio. Their intention was to use their expertise in expressive arts therapies to provide an accessible, affordable, alternative mental health services and programming, with the long-term vision of eliminating or at least dramatically reducing the stigma around mental health by creating increased public understanding and acceptance of self-care and therapy.”
