Rosa Hunter, MS

My passion for helping others is not only seen in my work, it has been woven in every thread of my existence. The journey to becoming a therapist took over 20 years. This journey didn’t happen without self discovery, determination and positive mind set, none of these come easy. I believe we can all have these three things and more. With a little fostering one can achieve emotional well-being having the mind and body align and heal.

I hold a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from Salem State University and a
Master’s degree from Capella University in Clinical Mental Health counseling. I have gained valuable experience by working in different therapeutic settings, providing family support in community settings and outpatient clinical support to individuals, families, adolescents and adults, Addressing depression, anxiety, behavioral difficulties, parental challenges, PTSD and complex trauma.

My goal as a therapist is to provide a compassionate, non judgmental safe space that will empower and support individuals during a time of healing and change. I pride myself on being able to build rapport quickly, putting others at ease which leads to a trusting therapeutic alliance tailored to each individual's needs and goals.
