Ashley Breton (she/they)

Ashley Breton (she/they) is an Artist and Creative Arts therapist. Ashley holds a license in New York State and is working as a pre-licensed professional in Massachusetts.

Ashley began her professional journey as a BFA Photography student at Parsons the New School for Design, at which point she was exploring the relationship between trust, vulnerability and witnessing through portraiture. Her path led her to pursue a MPS in Creative Arts Therapy & Creativity Development, at Pratt Institute, where Ashley developed a personal relationship with incorporating somatic witnessing through Mindfulness-Based practices.

In sessions, Ashley integrates somatic attention within emotional processing and holds space for mind, body, and spirit within the creative processes to promote dimensional means of gaining self-insight. Above all, Ashley practices as trauma-informed and specializes in depression, anxiety, sexual trauma, disordered eating, existential/identity concerns, race concerns.
